Take part in a horseback ride to meet the nomads

Your flight will depart from the airport in the city of your choice. Upon your arrival at the airport in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, our teams will welcome you and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the city and Buddhist monasteries. You will have dinner in the city in a traditional Mongolian restaurant.

After breakfast, you will leave by local bus to Karakorum, the former capital of Genghis Khan! You will visit the spectacular Buddhist monastery of Erdene Zuu. It dates back to the 16th century and is built on the ruins of the former imperial capital. In the evening, it will be your first night in a yurt camp!

Still on horseback, you will head for the Khangai mountains, a mythical massif in Mongolia. On the road you will cross a few nomadic camps and set up your bivouac in the evening near one of them. You will live your first moments of discovery of the nomads' culture and their lifestyle in the steppes.

During two days, you will immerse yourself in the Mongolian nomadic way of life. You will stay overnight with the family and participate in daily activities while taking time to discover the surroundings. You will visit the hot springs of Mogoit and the impressive Orkhon waterfalls.

As all good things come to an end, it is now time to go home! Say goodbye to your guides and take advantage of your last hours in Mongolia to buy souvenirs to offer to your loved ones. Your return flight departs from Ulan Bator airport and arrives at your return airport the same day in the evening!

After bidding farewell to the family, you'll leave for one of the most beautiful Buddhist monasteries in the country : the Tovkhon Monastery. Located on the top of a mountain, it offers a splendid view of the valley and the Khangaï moutain range. You will visit the monastery's caves and meditation cellars and then continue on the road, before stopping with a family for the night.
